American report evaluating a programme that gave poor people the opportunity to move to wealthier neighbourhoods to see if that improved their life chances. This was a long term project and the research is longitudinal.

The research showed positive impacts on housing quality and mental and physical health, but not on economic indicators like education, employment and income.

There was also a positive impact on community safety (e.g. lower incidences of drug dealing etc.)
